22nd March, 2017
First time we met
Like most couples these days, We met online! 😅
We decided to meet the Trent Conservation Trails and took a walk about the trails. Of course Mike loves to wear Vans, mind you this was early in the year and there was snow and mud everywhere. Brandon decided to take a trail with steep hills and you can guess what happened next. Mike fell and slid down the muddy hill. This was just the first of many times Mike wore incorrect footwear.

First we felt in love
It took a few more dates to figure out yea we sorta like each other. We started spending more time, Mike brought home a little dog named Zoey who we couldn’t live without.

He said “Yes”
Mike and Cassandra began to talk about taking a trip to the East Coast of Canada, specifically Halifax and Charlottetown. This is when Brandon hatched is dastardly plan to propose to Mike. Of course Brandon had everyone but Mike in on the secret.

When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible
